Eight Veggies Spring Roll – Have Some Dim Sum

Eight Veggies Spring Roll – Have Some Dim Sum

I was brought up eating Dim Sum, and love the variety and great taste. So I wrote a book to let people into this interesting world.

It’s called “Have Some Dim Sum” and has EVERYTHING you need to become a dim sum expert.

This video shows you how to make dim sum healthy. Tip: instead of frying you can bake the spring rolls in a 375 degree oven for 15 minutes or so. Just brush it with a light vegetable oil to make it turn golden.

8 Veggies Spring Roll (10-12 rolls)

1 lb veggies, uncooked, vary colours and textures
1 pkg spring roll pastry – I like Spring Home brand
1/4 cup Chinese or cider vinegar (put this and the sugar in water to blanch veg)
1 cup water
1/8 cup sugar
1 Tbsp flour (to make a thin paste)

Make some Dim Sum to show how much you care. After all, the words mean “Touch the Heart”!
