Thai Me Up

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 1 Cup Fresh Ginger, diced
  • 1 Cup Freshly Squeezed Lime Juice
  • 1 Cup Vodka
  • 1 Cup Soda Water

Method

Step 1

Place sugar, water and ginger into a small pot, bring to a boil. remove from the heat, cover and allow this mixture to steep for 30 minutes. Strain into a 2 cup measuring cup and add the lime juice and set aside. This base can be kept covered in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 days.

Step 2

When ready to serve. Place lots of ice cubes into 4 glasses of your choice, add 2 ounces of the lime base, plus 2 ounces of Vodka, and 2 ounces of bubbly water in each glass, garnish with a piece of fresh lime, and Enjoy!

Step 3

Sometime I use Prosecco or Champagne and Ginger/Lime Base instead of Vodka and if I want a non alcoholic version, I use only bubby water with the Ginger/Lime base.
