Its that time of year for some refreshing sangria out on a patio, or by the pool. When I was in college my roommate and I loved sangria… we would even buy the boxed stuff when we were desperate! this is a mix of different sangria recipes i’ve found with my own twist.

Ingredients

  • 1 Granny Smith Apple
  • 1 Orange
  • 1 Lemon
  • 1 Lime
  • 1/3 Cup Peach Schnapps
  • 1/3 Cup Lemon Vodka
  • 1/3 Cup Brandy
  • 1 Bottle Red Wine
  • 1 Can Sprite

Method

Step 1

Cut up the fruit into slices and put into the bottom of the pitcher.

Step 2

Pour the red wine of your choice into the pitcher over the fruit.

Step 3

Add the schnapps, vodka and brandy to the mix.

Step 4

Stir all of the ingredients together with a wooden spoon.

Step 5

Let the mixture sit in the fridge either over night or for a few hours.

Step 6

Pour the sprite into the pitcher, and serve into big red wine glasses or wide tumblers. Make sure you get some fruit in every glass as its the best part :) Enjoy!
