- 1 Pound Green Beans
- 1/8 Teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
- 1 Clove Garlic, minced
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1/4 Teaspoon Sea Salt
- 1/4 Teaspoon Pepper, freshly ground
- 1 Tablespoon Italian Parsley, chopped fine
Trim the stems from the green beans. Place in a steamer. Steam for approximately 5 minutes. Remove and set aside and season with salt and pepper.
Turn off the stove. Pour the water from the pot then put it on the turned off' burner, Add the oil, garlic and red pepper flakes to the pot and allow them to marry. Add the green beans to the pot toss and garnish with the chopped parsley and enjoy!
