Spanish Pita Wedges

Spanish Tapas “little plates” are what’s eaten at bars in Spain before dinner with wine.

Ingredients

  • 5 Pitas
  • 1 Cup Olive Oil
  • 2 Teaspoons Sea Salt
  • 1 Teaspoon Freshly Ground Black Pepper
  • 1 Teaspoon Dry Oregano
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Sumac

Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400F.

Step 2

Cut the pitas in 1/2 and then into 1/4 wedges, separate them, so there are 16 wedges for each pita.

Step 3

Brush the top side of the pita wedges with olive oil, sprinkle with salt, pepper and oregano on top.

Step 4

Bake for about 5 to 7 minutes, depending on your oven, until then are brown.


Serve With
