This salt fish is meant as a topping or side dish for a coconut bake.


  • Whole Salt Fish / Cod Fish
  • 1/2 Sweet Onion, diced
  • 1/2 Tomato, diced
  • 1/2 Sweet Pepper, diced
  • 1 Green Onion, diced
  • Pinch Black Pepper
  • Pinch Hot Pepper


Step 1

Soak the fish the night before overnight, give it one boil.

Step 2

Let it cool in cold water, clean off the scales and break the pieces of fish off the bones, place into a bowl and set aside.

Step 3

Combine the rest of the ingredients and mix together with the fish.
