Easy, one dish delicious sweet chicken recipe, which I received from my Auntie Merideth. Loved by kids of all ages.
- 12 Chicken Thighs, bone in with skin
- 1 Cup Plum Sauce
- 1 Cup Water
- 1 Cup Brown Sugar
- 4 Cloves Garlic, chopped fine
- 1 Teaspoon Ginger, grated
- 1 Cup Soy Sauce
In a glass or pottery baking dish, prepare the marinade, using the plum sauce, soy sauce, water, brown sugar, garlic and ginger. Mix well.
Add the chicken skin side up, to the marinade, cover with plastic wrap and let it sit in the refrigerator for at least 2 to 3 hours, or overnight.
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Bake uncovered for about 1 hour.
