Extra Cheesy Cheese Sauce2012-11-29

This sauce goes great on broccoli, but it can also be used for homemade macaroni and cheese.
- 1/4 Cup Butter
- 1/4 Cup Flour
- 2 Cups 18% Cream
- Salt, to taste
- 1 Cup Old Cheddar Cheese, grated
- 2 Heads Broccoli, cut into pieces
Melt the butter in a saucepan.
Add the flour, whisk together and cook for about 10 minutes on medium heat. At the same time, add the cream slowly, continuing to whisk all the time.
After all the cream has been added put in the salt and the cheese, mix well, cover and place on the back of the stove.
Serve over steamed broccoli or other vegetables.
