Rise and shine. Another breakfast favorite. Really fun and easy to make.
- 1 Slice Bread
- 1 Egg
- 1 Tablespoon Butter
Use an egg cup, or small glass, and make a hole in the center of the slice of bread. Remove the disc.
Butter one side of the bread. Also butter one side of the bread disc.
Add remaining butter to hot pan on medium heat. Place bread butter side up in pan. Also place disc in pan, butter side up.
Crack the egg in the middle of the hole. The yolk should be in the hole, and the white will spread over the bread. It may spread over the side. Add a dash of salt and pepper.
Once the bottom side begins to burn, flip it over. And cook the other side. Also flip the disc.
Cook egg until desired doneness. I like it cooked to conviction. Serve with bacon, sausages, or fruit.
