Cranberry Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 1/3 Cups Cranberries
  • 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 2 Teaspoons Orange Rind, grated
  • 1/2 Cup Orange Juice

Method

Step 1

In saucepan combine the cranberries, sugar, orange rind and juice. Bring to a boil, stirring often.

Step 2

Reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer for 5 minutes or until the berries begin to pop.

Step 3

When ready, pour the mixture into a blender or food processor and puree. Press through a sieve or strainer. Serve.

Step 4

Optionally pour the mix into a mold, and place it in the fridge to cool. As it cools it will adapt to the shape of the mold, or bowl. This sauce will refrigerate for up to 5 days. It will freeze for up to 1 month.
