Asparagus with Almonds and Garlic

Ingredients

  • 1 Bunch Asparagus
  • 1/2 Cup Sliced Almonds
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter
  • 1 1/2 Teaspoons Garlic, chopped
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Method

Step 1

Snap ends of asparagus. Chop into 2-3 inch lengths. Cook asparagus for 2 minutes in boiling water. Drain and run under cold water.

Step 2

Toast almonds over medium heat in a pan (should take 2-3 mintues).

Step 3

Add butter and increase to high heat. Once butter has melted add asparagus and garlic. Cook for 4 minutes.

Step 4

Season with salt and pepper (to taste).
